About the Editors

Helen Calcutt

Helen is a poet, essayist, and professional dance artist base in Birmingham. Her poetry and critical writing features in the Guardian, The Huffington Post,  The Brooklyn Review, Poetry London, Poetry Scotland, Wild Court, and The London Magazine, among many others. Her latest book ‘Somehow’ (Verve Poetry, 2020) was a PBS Winter Bulletin pamphlet, and a Poetry School Book of the Year 2020 (Longlist). She is creator of poetry anthology ‘Eighty-Four’, produced in aid of the male suicide prevention charity CALM. It was a Poetry Wales Book of the Year, 2019, and was shortlisted for the Saboteur Awards, Best Anthology, 2019. Helen teaches for the Poetry School, N.A.W.E and Writing West Midlands, and is a visiting lecturer in Creative Writing at Loughborough University. She teaches for the Poetry School, Writing West Midlands, and HAY’s Young Women Writers programme.

Jonah Corren

‘Hailing from West Dorset, Jonah Corren is a poet and singer-songwriter. His work has been published in Alter Egos: A Bad Betty AnthologyInk, Sweat & Tears, Blog 84, and Morning Star. He is also a UniSlam champion (2019), and a BBC New Creative (2019/20).’
